mercure was a fantastic stay! the location is perfect, right outside the busy areas. my room was very clean and had comfy furnishings. the bathroom was spacious, with a good-sized bath and a decent shower. i loved the nespresso machine with coffee capsules provided. also, it was convenient to check in early and leave my bags without any hassle. the check-in and check-out process was super quick!

I absolutely loved the buffet breakfast with such a wide variety of choices and the big, clean room with a super comfy bed. The hotel has a sauna and massage options that I didn’t get to try, but they really added to the relaxing atmosphere. The only downside was that the parking wasn't directly at the hotel, but it was only a short walk away. 😊

I had a terrible experience at this hotel! The parking situation was an absolute nightmare, as their limited space forced me to park an 8-minute walk away. To make matters worse, the check-in process was slow and disorganized, which only added to my frustration. The staff didn’t seem to care about any of these issues. I felt completely overlooked and unwelcome during my stay.

My kids wished there were more entertainment options for families like a game room.

The lift only goes up to the fourth floor, which can be a real hassle if you're on the fifth, especially if you've got knee problems. Also, the air conditioning struggled to keep the room comfortable and made for a restless night. Combine that with the sound from the nearby street and it was tough to catch a good night's sleep. On top of that, parking fills up fast since it seems to be open for public use, making it a scramble to find a spot for your ride.

Just a nice choice for a two-day stay in Dortmund with good value for price. The breakfast selection was amazing, we didn’t go hungry. Make sure to inquire about parking options ahead of time.
